- Ephemeral Data: To facilitate the "Watch Together" feature, we momentarily process chat messages and playback synchronization data.
- Device Information: We may collect non-identifiable information such as device type and OS version for technical optimization and ad-serving.
- Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): This permission is used ONLY to allow users to send voice messages within private rooms. Audio data is NOT stored on our servers.
2. Data Retention & Deletion
We take your privacy seriously. All chat messages, room codes, and synchronization data are PERMANENTLY DELETED from our servers as soon as a room is closed or becomes inactive. We do not keep logs of the movie links you paste or the content you watch.
3. Third-Party Services
WeCinema Player utilizes trusted partners to enhance your experience:
- Google Drive: We redirect you to Google Drive. We do not have access to your account credentials or private files.
- Ad Partners: We use Google AdMob for personalized ads. You can opt-out in your device settings.
- Payment Processors: Handled securely by RevenueCat. We never store your banking information.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the app settings.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete this from our servers upon request.
